December 5,2009 Jonas' BIG Day!

Its official Jonas crawled, he hops like a baby frog but we adore it and he thinks its rad so HOP ON BABY! Please understand Jonas is only 7 months old however at times fits into 24 months clothing, so our little baby chub chub has a lot to lift as he hops about. Poor little guy is out of breath in no time. Very funny. LoL! On the same day we watched Jonas learn to hop is was across the living room daddy almost lost a finger tip. "Jonas has teeth" that's what Broc said, of course I said ya right. Sure enough I investigate and 2! Count them 2 teeth on the bottom, Daddy was right and Daddy got his first "first" with Jonas all to himself. Im so excited for the both of them. Broc is very proud of Bubba's new tools. Jonas loves teething cookies and yogurt melts ALOT!! He is even learning to use a sippy cup. What an exciting month!! Happy Holidays everyone!

Jonas LOVES the park!

Jonas sure loves the park! Today Broc and I took Jonas to play on the swings for the first time, Jonas thought it was great. Poor baby Jonas out grew his baby swing at home 2 months ago and he never really got to enjoy it, so mommy cleaned the park swing with germ stuff so Jonas could go to town, and that's exactly what he did. Jonas had so much joy in his eyes it was a blast to watch. Its funny because when something is new to Jonas he will only smile but not make a noise. I guess he wants to get the feel of things before he lets loose. lol
The slide was not to interesting to Jonas, clearly he is still to young but I sure enjoyed trying.

Momma's Angel

Honestly Jonas is so dang cute. He falls asleep in the strangest places, and in the funniest positions. I have to move him a million times a night because he turns himself around in the crib, or smashes his little face against the bumper pad. Seems that Jonas just likes to sleep on his side or with his head touching the edge of the bed. He is clearly our child, Broc is a bed HOG, and I sleep right on the edge of the bed. Works out for us, lol. I cant believe Jonas is 6 months old! Where did the time go? He can sit with help now, and WOW he can roll like crazy!! I cant turn my back for a second. The other day I went into the kitchen for a drink and came back to my little Jonas playing underneath his jumper. LOL! What a crazy boy, he seemed very proud of the postion he had gotten himself into. I can tell this is going to be a very exciting month!!

Trick or Treat baby Yoda!!

Jonas had a great October!! We did so much this month, Star Wars concert, pumpkin patch and carving, trick or treating. I love watching Jonas experience new things, and at this point everything is new. We decided to take him to a church for Halloween. Trick or treating was gonna put Jonas way past his bed time so it was nice to have a safe place to go that started early. Everyone thought Jonas was such a cute little Yoda, a women actually asked us to wait while she got her camera out so she could have a picture. GOSH WE ARE PROUD!! My favorite moment this month was cleaning out the pumpkin with Jonas. He didnt know if he was supposed to be nervous or if it was fun, lol either way it was hilarious! Its so wild to think my little man is turning 6 months, I feel like the doctor just handed him to me.

What an awesome day, yesterday we celebrated daddys 28th birthday early!!! We started by taking Jonas to his 1st farm/pumpkin patch. This is Jonas' first halloween so sadly he has no clue whats going on. We wanted to take Jonas to the farm anyways because I know that Jonas LOVES the color orange ( he wears it often), so it was safe to assume he would at the very least be excited to see all of the pumpkins. I was so right! Turned out thats all he would look at, the pumpkins, so most of the photos we took have Jonas looking at the ground. LOL! silly baby.

After the pumpkin patch we found Jonas a jacket, thank the maker its cooling down. We went to this place called KID TO KID, its a new/used childrens store, it was expensive but really cute. For dinner we had our good friends Jenn & Chris over, I made supper, and we had cake, it was a great time! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

My little man is growing so fast

Well my little baby chub chub, has become my big baby chub chub. Jonas loves to roll to his belly now, matter of fact I cant keep him on his back for more then a few seconds without him flipping to his belly. I love watching him roll, he gets so excited. This is all so funny because just last month when I would put Jonas on his belly, he would TOTALLY lose it. Jonas hated tummy time, but look at him now!!

The newest addition to Jonas' routine is brushing his gums. Jonas thinks this is the best!! Im not sure if its the flavor, the little brush or the fact that mommy has a finger in his mouth, but Jonas opens wide and lets me brush away. Today he stuck his tongue out while I was brushing, I took it as a sign, and brush his tongue a little, he giggled. Everyday is the best day, Jonas makes my life PERFECT!!!

Does it get any better?

Jonas is 5 months old now, and Im wondering how much cuter one child could possibly get. I feel like I am the luckiest mommy in the world, and I am so greatful that Broc is able to let me stay home and watch my little buddle of joy grow. Everyday there is something new to tell daddy when he gets home. Jonas can roll to his belly with zero effort now, and I have watched him roll to his back from his belly a few times, but it seems to be harder for him to do. Its so funny to watch him get onto his belly then get mad that he is there. Jonas still HATES tummy time.
Today I took Jonas to the mall to walk around, and we saw this cute couple and there little boy playing on the floor at a store. I could not help it, I had to stop and talk to them and the gorgeous baby boy they had created. I took Jonas out of his buggie and brought him down to the little boy, and lets just say they fell in love. IT WAS ADORABLE!!! Watching the boys play and talk was so cool, mothers of multipules have a very hard job, but I bet they have such joy watching the babies play together and explore each other. Im officially on the look out for a playdate buddy for Jonas.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Today was GREAT!! We took Jonas to get his first halloween portraits, we had a BLAST! Jonas does so good for pictures when his daddy is there. New rule, no picture day without Broc there from now on. As Im sure you noticed Jonas is baby Yoda and I cant explain how proud I am. Jonas looks adorable and I love the smile he brings to peoples face. Im seriously thinking about putting him in some sort of modeling, atleast while he is tiny.

We have not decided what to do for halloween this year, we would really enjoy taking Jonas somewhere safe and warm.(we just love showing him off) Im going to look into some of the local churches and we will probably go to one of the parties they throw. I love the guys in my life, they are so beautiful!!!

Star Wars in Concert!

What an AWESOME day we had today! We took Jonas to Star Wars in Concert. He did amazing, actually fell asleep thru the begining. Eventually he woke up and thought Anthony Daniels (C3PO) was funny. Jonas loved the music and lights, it was a great time. We got to look at actual costumes up close, it was so neat. Broc and I really enjoyed every part of the trip.
Broc had a great time looking at the costumes, they had Bobba Fett so he was very happy.
As the mommy I think the best part of the day was all of the people saying how cute our baby Yoda was, 3 people actually asked if we would let them take a picture of or with him. LOL! Our little super model!

Fall is here!

Well Fall is here, finally!
I was starting to get tired of the heat, I know Jonas was done with it too.We took Jonas to a Fall Festival yesterday. It was great to show him all the colors and lights. He really seemed to enjoy it (even tho it was past his bedtime). Broc loves being the one to show Jonas new things, and I dont mind letting him, I get all day everyday with Jonas, daddy works so the boys need some guy time. lol.


Our little baby is growing up so fast, every morning I swear he is heavier then when I laid him down the night before. Jonas will be 5 months old in 4 days. I remember being 5 months pregnant thinking Jonas was never coming out and I was going to be pregnant FOREVER! Guess that didnt happen lol! Our precious little buddy of joy has made our lives,and hearts grow in ways we never thought possible.

What happen to my little baby?

Jonas Anakin Englund 4 Months old 9-14-2009

I cant begin to explain how fast little Jonas is growing. I tried to hold him all snug like a newborn yesterday, and lets just say he was not having it. We am very excited to be taking Jonas to his first concert (star wars) on sunday Oct 4. I know you may think Im crazy, but dont worry he will have his earmuffs on. Im crossing my fingers that we will be able to get some pictures with him and some characters, Jonas will be dressed as Yoda so its going to be adorable!

Eating is going GREAT! Jonas eats like a crazy boy, but its really fun to watch him enjoy it so much. I had to go out and buy these GIANT plastic bibs to cover him, he is learning how to swallow better every day, so he is less messy. lol! Cant wait to see our little man sit up and roll over all on his own, I can tell it will be very soon.

Food Finally!!

Jonas is officially allowed to have baby food! I was so excited to take him to his 4 month check up, I just knew the doctor would say "give him food". Jonas is 18.2 pounds,26.5 inches and in the 90th percentile. SO BIG! I cant explain the feeling of pride I had when the doctor told me that. Jonas is growing perfectly. Broc and I are doing this, we are being parents, and good parents as a matter of fact. Jonas is a pure joy to be around, he loves every second of life, and we love every second of being part of his life. For Jonas' first meal daddy picked rice cereal mixed with a little hint of peach, we dont know all of the rules, but this is what daddy thought would taste best. Jonas hated it, lol spit out almost every bite, yet Jonas kept coming after the spoon for more. It was so fun to share in his first taste test!!

Jonas' 1st trip to Mojo's

Broc Jonas and I went to Mojo's on Wed night, with Jen and Chris. We had a great time. It was probably not the best idea, but I just had to let Jonas taste some. He was confused and excited about the cold.

I really enjoy hanging out with Jen and Chris, they totally love Jonas and like looking at baby stuff. Its like we dont have to have only friends with kids,and they are just great. YAY for friends!!

Motherhood Rocks!

Jonas has got to be the coolest kid! I mean he wakes me up at 5 am everyday, and ya right if I get a nap ( its like he hears my head hit the pillow and bam! hes up...) oh well I make due, and when I finally get to bed Broc sleeps like a crazy monkey and its all I can do to try to push his big butt outta my way. I love my life, Jonas' earmuffs (Hilarious right? lol We bought them so that Jonas could enjoy his first life event STAR WARS IN CONCERT!! Oh ya Im so excited, seeing as Jonas' middle name is Anakin this is gonna rock! I cant wait to see Jonas' eyes light up, and thanks to his earmuffs his ears will be safe. ( for your peace of mind, I did alot of background work on the earmuffs, its totally safe)

Jonas is HUGE

Jonas is growing so fast I cant believe it. On Saturday, Broc and I took Jonas on his first big boy stroller ride around the block. It was so nice outside Jonas loved it! Jonas totally loves his jumper roo its really cool, he just loves to watch Spongebob and JUMP JUMP JUMP! Oh and Mr. Big Guy Jonas likes to think he can hold his own bottle, crazy baby.

A Whole New World...

Horray! Jonas is now 4 months old. He is learning to roll from his belly to his back and his back to his belly. I swear watching him is the coolest. We finally moved and life could not get better right now, our new condo is GREAT! We went from crazy land to peace land, no noise, no violence all is well, and the carpet is new!!! We had our first dinner guests last night, Jen and Chris. We had a great time and are looking forward to being able to have people over more often.

Hello, this is my first time every blogging about anything so I should probabyle start with introducing myself. My name is Christina. I am 26 yrs old. I am engaged to Broc he is 27 and the love of my life. Broc and I met while I was living in Mukilteo,WA. We worked at stores across from each other at the mall, Broc says he saw me and knew he had to find out all he could about me. Needless to say WE ARE IN LOVE! We just had our first child on May 8, 2009, his name is Jonas Anakin and he rocks our socks!
